Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Edmonton, Alberta, January 3, 2008 - COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS INC. ("Commercial" or the "Company") (TSX:CSA) aa leading Canadian distributor of bearings, power transmission, oilfield, industrial, safety, survey and resource management equipment products and services, today announced that Mr. Eric Sauze has been appointed Chief Operating Officer effective immediately. This is a new position that will report to Jim Barker, Chairman, President and CEO of Commercial. The executive committee of Commercial will report to Mr. Sauze.

Mr. Sauze joined Commercial in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer, a role he will continue with until a successor is found. Prior to that, Mr. Sauze was Operations Manager for CFE Equipment Ltd., a company subsequently acquired by Commercial. Prior to CFE Equipment Ltd., Mr. Sauze obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation with the Vancouver office of KPMG LLP, where he spent five years providing assurance, taxation and business advisory services.
